Norris leerde zijn McLaren in Barcelona kennen tijdens de wintertest, in Australi\u00eb werd de Grand Prix vlak voor aanvang van de eerste vrije training afgelast. Nu de corona-maatregelen langzaamaan ook in Engeland wordt versoepeld, is er ruimte om de echte baan op te gaan.<\/h4>\n<p>Het zal een priv\u00e9test zijn, weet <em>The Race<\/em> maar de locatie en het tijdstip wordt niet prijsgegeven. \u201cHet wordt heel belangrijk om zoveel mogelijk te doen en weer terug te keren naar de normale werkzaamheden. Vooral hoe we ons voorbereiden is belangrijk\u201d, vertelt Norris. \u201cIk moet er van zeker zijn dat ik in een auto rijd voordat we naar Oostenrijk gaan. Het zal niet mogelijk zijn om dat in een Formule 1-auto te doen, dat is een heel ander niveau.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Norris werd kampioen in de Formula 3 in 2017, dat deed hij met Carlin dus wellicht wordt dat zijn\u00a0<em>weapon of choice.<\/em> \u201cIk zal een F3-auto rijden. Ook ga ik karten de komende weken, om maar bezig te zijn. Daarnaast heb ik nog veel dagen in de simulator gepland staan.
